MICROSOFT OUTLOOK INSTALLATION
GUIDE
1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. On the Drop Down Menu Click on TOOLS
3. Under Tools select Accounts
4. This will open the Internet Accounts box. Click the mail tab
5. On the right menu bars click the Add button
6. Select Mail
7. This will bring you through the Internet Connection Wizard.
8. Enter Your Display Name. Your name that recipients will see who the
email is from.
9. Click Next
10. Enter your Email Address. (ex. bob@huntersolutions.com)
11. Click Next
12. You will now enter your email server names information
13. Make My incoming mail server is a POP3 Server.
14. For Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server enter the following:
a. Mail.9netave.com
15. For Outgoing mail (SMTP) enter the following:
a. Use your existing email account's Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
If you do not know this information contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
They will have this information for you.
16. Click Next
17. For Account Name enter your username
18. For Password enter you password
19. Check the Remember Password box
20. UnCheck the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) box
21. Click Next
22. Select the appropriate method you use to connect to the Internet.
a. If you are on a
network select Connect using my local area network (LAN)
b. If you use a phone to connect through a dial up account select Connect
using my phone line
23. Click Next
24. Click Finish
25. You will now be back at your Internet Accounts box. You will see your new
account
26. Click on the new account. It will turn blue
27. Click on the properties box on the right
28. This will bring up your mail account properties button
29. Click on the Servers tab on the top
30. Go to the bottom of the page where it reads Outgoing Mail Server
31. Check the box for My server requires authentication
32. Click on the settings button
33. Logon Information. Select the Log on using radio button
34. In Account Name box enter your account name
35. In Password box enter your password
36. Check the Remember password box
37. Uncheck Log on using Secure Password Authentication
38. Click OK
39. Click OK
40. Click Close
41. Your account is set up and ready to mail
42. Click on the inbox.
43. To compose a new message click on the New Button on the top left
44. To Send and Receive click on the Send/Receive button on the top center
